Quick tip about Get Office 365 Sign in reports in Azure management portal.
One of the benefits of managing Office 365 Active directory in Azure is that, you can use features that comes with Azure Active directory and Azure AD Premium.
I have previously added my Office 365 Active directory in one of my Azure subscriptions so i merge my Azure VM’s user’s with the Office 365 users form my office 365 tenant. See this quick procedure @ How to add Office 365 Active directory in Azure.
I have benefited a lot from doing this. I can now use rule-based group membership, run reports and assign office 365 users access to other SaaS applications like remoteapps because the users are now readily available in Azure itself.
You can run audit report on different SaaS applications connected to your Office 365 Azure AD in the Azure Management portal.
1. Navigate to the Directory your Azure Portal and then Navigate to Reports tab.
2. Accept the terms and conditions. This will appear for the first time.
3. Under application usage select “Office 365 SharePoint Online”.
Selecting “Office 365 SharePoint Online” next will show you Office 365 SharePoint online – Number of Sign INS.
You can also visit the same reports from Office 365 when you navigate to Office 365 admin center -> Reports. In Reports, under Auditing, click Azure AD reports. This will navigate to the Azure management portal.
