If anyone can help, we have numerous custom lists, with our job information in the fields. things like our job number, clietn name, address etc.

we need search to display the result with a link to the specific item either to its "Disp" link or even "edit" link. We are currently using Sharepoint 2007 which does it perfectly. 2010 doesn't seem to work.

We have indexed 2 field items within the list, and i have done a full crawl stop and start, and ensured all the central admin settings look correct. The custom list is not hidden, and search visiblity is enabled.

for example if I search by address. 2010 shows the item as

"List Name"

Fields in the list

(link) http://portal/HHCRM/Lists/Jobw…..ems.aspx 

2007 in comparison shows a similar item as

http://intranet/bookings/Lists…..px?ID=3355

so we can view the list item by clicking on the link.
